A Long-haired Man

A very quick digital painting.
They call that type of painting "speedpainting". Correct me if I am wrong.
I am still only experimenting and exploring the ways of photoshop. This one was a product of an idle moment. Just the same day we had had painting with traditional means and I'd painted a portrait there, so I decided to try out a half-serious portrait with my computer also.
Came out quite well.

And I was amazed again at the possibilities of photoshop and digital painting. I no longer wonder at why some have abandoned their brusher for wacom tablet. There's something extremely tempting in the way you can have precise control over whatever you are doing, with limitless means of altering the look at a moment's whim.
But nevertheless, personally I am still strongly with alchemic paints and bristly bristle brushes. Where's the romance in stiff back and sore eyes from sitting before a computer, I ask you?
